Experiment Vectors

Experimenting with vectors through image trace. First image with the original photo still in the background and second with background dropped out.

Scannograms

The first objects that I scanned were some pieces of grass, leaves, and some strange berries all laid out on a wrinkled piece of saran wrap.  The second item I scanned was a sheet of bubble wrap. Lastly, I just scanned a few leaves.  The actual image I am using is from the Napalm Attack

Project 5 Change + Process

Although I started out thinking that I wanted to create a video for my final project, I ended up changing my mind. Instead, I decided to dive deeper into Illustrator, like we did with the first project. My new idea involves a series of images rather than just one. I made three Illustrator drawings that all portray the negative influence that social media and technology has on all of us today. I started off with sketched ideas (shown) below, then scanned them in and drew over them in Illustrator.

Final Project Ideas

For my last Digital Imaging project, I am still not certain what I would like to make it about- but I do know that I want to make a video. The first idea that I had was to make a cooking video. There is an account on YouTube called Peaceful Cuisine that makes very well shot and edited cooking how-to videos. If I did end up making a cooking video, I would try and film it in a very well thought out way. With Thanksgiving coming up, I might try to make a food that my family likes to eat over the holidays and bring more of a sentimental meaning into it, or I might just make one of my favorite foods. My second idea that I had was to make a video about dance, and more specifically App's Dance Team that I am on. If I went with this idea, I want to make it almost a "get to know us" kind of video so that people can learn more about what we do. A lot of people do not know that we are technically not a team under Athletics, and we receive little to no funding or sponsorship...
